Tips for easy-to-read puzzles
- Choose a smaller grid for bigger letters. A 10 x 10 grid leaves room for giant letters on one page; a 16 x 16 grid fits more words but uses smaller type.
- Start with Easy. Easy puzzles only run left to right and top to bottom, which is how we read. Medium adds diagonals, and Hard adds backwards words.
- Print at 100% scale. In the print dialog, choose "Actual size" or 100% rather than "Fit to page" to keep the letters as large as possible.
- Make it personal. Family names, a garden's flowers, favorite songs or this week's spelling words make a puzzle more fun to solve.
